lesson 8- John the Baptist

John the Baptist was preaching in the wilderness telling everyone to get ready for the coming Christ. He was quite an interesting person since he wore clothes made from camel and a belt around his waist. He also ate inteeresting things like bugs...yes bugs. He at a bug called locuts and honey.But people heard about him and went out to listen to what he had to say.


John also Baptistied people which is why he was called, John the Baptist. Baptistum was a way of showing people that you were sorry for the wrong things that you did and wanted to change how you acted.


John the Baptist was also brave enough to tell the spiritual leaders of the time that they were wrong in how they were following and serving God.
